Guidelines for a useful directory.
Clear profiles and honest reviews help people make better decisions. These standards apply to information and interactions shared on NaijaAgents.
Profile information
Use your own identity or a business you are authorised to represent. Keep your name, services, location, contact details, and imagery accurate and current. Do not claim credentials, licences, affiliations, or verification you do not hold.
Profiles assembled by NaijaAgents from public sources are marked as public listings until a claim is approved. If a listing is wrong, report it; if it represents you, request to claim it or request its removal.
Reviews and ratings
Rate an experience with one to five stars and describe what actually happened. You may write one review per profile. Keep it relevant, specific, and respectful. Do not post fabricated experiences, threats, slurs, private contact details, or documents belonging to someone else.
Agents cannot review themselves; agency members cannot review their own agency. Helpful and Not helpful votes should reflect whether a review helps others understand the experience, not whether you agree with its rating.
Contact requests
Use contact requests for genuine property enquiries. Explain what you are looking for and provide contact details you are comfortable sharing with the agent. Do not send spam, deceptive offers, or sensitive financial documents through the first message.
Sponsored content
Paid placements are labelled as sponsored. Advertisers must have rights to the name, images, and destination they submit. A sponsored position is promotion, not an endorsement or verification of the advertiser.
Before you commit or pay
Check the verification badge and read what each check covers. Verify the professional's identity and authority independently. Inspect the property and confirm title, documentation, fees, and the destination of any payment through trusted channels. Never treat a badge, a review, or a sponsored placement as a guarantee.
NaijaAgents connects people; the parties to a property transaction remain responsible for their own dealings. Our terms explain the service's role and applicable limits.
When something is wrong
Use the report control on a public profile for impersonation, fraud, inaccurate information, harassment, or other concerns. For a specific customer review, follow the review dispute guide. We assess the information provided and may request more context before taking action.
